Terlingua Book Fair

We have had several inquiries about the Annual Book Fair at the school in Terlingua. This is the information that we have received. While most of us will not be in the Terlingua area this year, we can still help out by visiting the link. The Book Fair is November 2-November 15. Thank you all.

 Casey Pilgreen
Thursday, November 3, 2016 – TICC Main Stage – 8:00 – 11:00 p.m.
 Friday, November 4, 2016 – TICC Main Stage – 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Casey Pilgreen  will be the headliner act on Thursday night to kick off three nights of great music and dancing at the Ranch.  Casey will also open for Larry Joe Taylor on Friday night from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Casey Pilgreen (aka Big Pil) is a singer/songwriter, cowboy entertainer, rodeo announcer (PBR, CBR, Extreme Rodeo Bullfight Tour) from the North Texas / Southern Oklahoma area.

When Casey Pilgreen dropped the trumpet to play country, his goal was to become a singer and songwriter.   Perseverance, a lot of live shows and a catalogue of songwriting is paying off for Casey.  Casey grew up traveling to Nashville a lot with his family and one of his favorite places to hang out was the Grand Ole Opry.  Casey takes the sound from the legends and mixes in some Red Dirt/Texas country for a lively show.  Casey stays busy in North Texas and Oklahoma, with his longtime playing buddies, in his Carports and Arena Tour

Larry Joe Taylor
Friday, November 4, 2016 – TICC Main Stage – 9:15 - 11:00 pm

Larry Joe Taylor and band will be the headliner act on Friday night to continue the second night of music and dancing at the Ranch.   www.larryjoetaylor.com

Larry Joe Taylor is one of the grandest success stories in modern Texas music. Taylor has transitioned from a regular 9-to-5er to a full-time good timer. He writes, performs, produces, and promotes his own special brand of music. His annual Texas Music Festival is one of the hottest events in Texas and serves as the most prominent destination music festival for this scene of music. To look at Taylor’s unassuming demeanor, you might not guess that he’s an influential force in Texas music.

Prophets and Outlaws

Saturday, November 5, 2016 – TICC Main Stage - 8:00 - 10:00 pm

Prophets and Outlaws will be the headliner act on Saturday night to finish out three great nights of music and dancing at the Ranch.  www.prophetsandoutlaws.com

Prophets and Outlaws is a southern rock band with soul.  They have developed a sound that ties their passion for the Blues to their Country roots.  Think TEXAS SOUL!  You can find elements of the old “outlaw” music in their attitude and in the way they push the boundaries of today’s music.  The Fort Worth Ranch radio station says, “Prophets and Outlaws is the kind of band that can bring the blues, rock n’ roll, the essence of Texas and then take you straight to church.”
