Terlingua Book Fair

We have had several inquiries about the Annual Book Fair at the school in Terlingua. This is the information that we have received. While most of us will not be in the Terlingua area this year, we can still help out by visiting the link. The Book Fair is November 2-November 15. Thank you all.

Every qualified CASI cook who registered and cooked at the 50th TICC at the ranch this year received a special bright red, commemorative, insulated, zippered, hot and cold tote bag. The bags were donated by some special people from Sierra Vista, Arizona, Jim and Judy Kuriger, owners of Paul’s Pub. They don’t cook, but they are Lifetime CASI members and staunch supporters of the High Desert Pod’s cookoff activities in southern Arizona ... . The donation by Paul’s Pub owners to CASI and all the 2016 TICC cooks is really special. Please comment on this post with a “like”, a word of thanks or whatever you have an inclination to do. Jim and Judy will really appreciate it. ONE picture shows a handsome bearded guy and a lady. The bearded guy is Jim Kuriger and the lady is a super High Desert Pod member, Gail Edwards.  Jim and Judy scratched one thing off their ...bucket list by attending TICC where they met many cooks and CASI leaders. Jim sat on the Final Table with the dignitaries.
EDs Note:  The bags were a wonderful surprise for the cooks.  The smaller writing on the bag says,  "Stolen from Paul's Pub, Sierra Vista AZ,   by tED    We always appreciate a great sense of humor.  Thank you Jim and Judy for the amazing gift and the fantastic donation.  Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for CASI.
