New Years Weekend Results

The chili world was a very busy place over the New Years weekend.  Cook offs, fun and fellowship were everywhere.  From all accounts, the ending of 2016 and the beginning of 2017 were one for the books.  Here are results from across the chili nation.

Kingsland CCO  3 days

The Highland Lakes Chili Pod would like to say "Thank You" to everyone that came and supported the three day chili cookoff New Years weekend in The Beautiful Texas Hill Country. It was a very Successful event for our charity The Kingsland American Legion Post 437. It was a beautiful weekend to be with our chili family celebrating the New Year and Chili-Charity-Fun. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make our weekend run smoothly and for all the donations. As alwa...ys...we ate good, the beverages were delicious, the games were fun and most of all the fellowship was Great! We wish everyone A Healthy-Happy and Prosperous New Year!

4th Annual Rockin in the New Year CCO, Marshal TX

4th Annual Rocking in the New Year was a good one. 39 chilis on saturday. 20 peas and 16 Soup.No rain. Wasn't to cold. Only burned 1 cord of wood in the fire pit. Thanks to every one that came out and enjoyed the weekend with us all.
