CASI's Fundraising Programs
CASI is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization created to sanction chili cooking competitions intended to bring local communities and competitive chili cooks together to raise awareness of the history of chili and raise funds for local charities, while supporting the community with wholesome, enriched competitive cooking events.
CASI's motto, "Chili, Charity, and Fun", describes the theme of our cookoffs and the positive environment CASI cookoffs create. Resoundingly successful in accomplishing our mission, since 1983, CASI has generated and donated over $30 million in financial support for local charities. CASI's National Scholarship Program has given over $560,000 in scholarships to high school students.
But, CASI could not have achieved these donations and scholarships without the support of our great cooks, great partners, and general support of our fundraising programs.
