In my short time in the chili world I don't have any non-cooking awards, but I take great pride in my contributions to charitable fundraising through my role as a cook, Regional Referee, and Great Pepper for CASI. Beyond these accomplishments, the friendships I have built along the way are invaluable, and I believe they will last a lifetime.

Why are you interested in the CASI Board position?
I am eager to serve as a CASI Board member because I deeply value the organization’s commitment to charitable fundraising. The impact CASI has in supporting important causes is truly commendable, and I would be honored to contribute to its continued success. Over time, I have developed a deep appreciation for the incredible community within CASI, and I believe my skills and experience can be of good benefit in advancing its mission

Previous outside board or volunteer service?
As a teenager, I dedicated my time as a volunteer firefighter and actively participated in various Church volunteer efforts. However, my greatest sense of fulfillment comes from coaching boys’ and girls’ sports for over 20 years. Guiding young athletes, fostering teamwork, and helping them grow both on and off the field has been one of my most rewarding experiences

Kind(s) of skills or expertise that you offer the organizaiton?
I bring a strong foundation in leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, allowing me to effectively collaborate with others and foster a positive environment. My ability to apply practical common sense, combined with a dedicated and hardworking mindset, ensures that I approach challenges with a balanced and level-headed perspective. I am committed to making meaningful contributions and supporting the continued success of the organization

How will the organization benefit from you serving as a CASI Director?
I am committed to CASI'S mission without concern for politics or personal recognition. My sole focus is on supporting CASI's efforts and I firmly believe in the meaningful work we do. I am dedicated to helping the organization grow, thrive, and make an even greater impact.
